The latest report from the All Party Parliamentary Group on Global Health has just been released. The report, ‘Improving Health at Home and Abroad’, looks at the issue of overseas volunteering by UK health workers – how they help to improve health around the world and at the same time bring back valuable knowledge and skills to the NHS.
The report recommends three key actions to improve the support given to staff, the coordination of programmes and the national policy environment.
