Partnerships & Research Links

The Tropical Health Education Trust (THET) has the greatest knowledge about the many Links/Partnerships that have been developed between Hospital and Community Trusts in the UK and abroad. Several Links exist between Trusts in Wessex and abroad and others are developing. 

This section offers the following : - 

• Guidance when forming a Link : information for those considering setting up a Link.

• Service Links - Wessex : brief descriptions of Links that have been developed by several of the Hospital and Community Trusts in Wessex.  

• Academic Links - Wessex : information about academic and research networks nationally and university activity with developing countries locally. 

• Other UK Links : information about some Links that are nearby to Wessex and and other UK that are particularly well developed. 

• Links that exist within countries with which Wessex is associated :   There are countries where more than one Wessex Link has been developed by different Hospital or Community Trusts. This section identifies the countries where this has occurs and lists the Wessex Links that have been developed there.
