There is a greate deal of health related information on the web about different countries. Our guide to Sources of Country Information provides you with information about some particularly useful ones.  

 

Cambodia

The Global Health Leadership Programme has a well established connection with the Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation in Cambodia. Health and its Determinants in Cambodia (2008)  provides a summary of the health status of the country.

 

 

 

 

 

 Ghana

There is currently no local summary of the health position in Ghana, but the information can be found on the website of the Ministry of Health for Ghana. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

South Sudan

The Health Sector Development Plan 2012 - 2016 for South Sudan was published in 2012 and forms the basis for health planning over the coming years.

Progress will have been delayed by the impact of skirmishes with Sudan on its Northern border and the loss of income from the discontinued export of oil. The plan, however, gives the most up to date assessment of the health of the population in the country. 

 

 

 

 

Tanzania
