Climate Change March, London, 21st September, 2014
An e-mail sent by someone from Wessex who attended the march
"I found participating in the march a moving experience; that so many people turned up as individuals and / or representing movements - such as Avaaz, Greenpeace, 38 Degrees, Winchester Action against Climate Change etc etc - to demonstrate not only relating to what they love about the planet - trees, seas, their families, life and love - but also what they think about our leaders - what they are allowing to happen and the action they are not taking against vested interests which are not in our or the planet's interests. There were speakers outside parliament in westminster speaking about the vital need to invest in renewables and jobs, to inspire us and set an example, to agree to legally binding carbon reduction targets, etc. etc."
