4 June 2014

Location:

University College, London

Times:

17.30 - 19.30

Summary:

An invited panel addresses the question as to whether we are doing enough to tackle NCDs and where the answers lie?

Full Details:

Non Communicable Diseases are the world's biggest killers, affecting not only the rich West, but also the poorest and most marginalized communities. Yet, most NCDs are preventable. Are we doing enough to tackle them, and where do answers lie?

The panel discussion will focus on workable solutions: from global funders, national laws, individual behaviour change, and the world of business.

The panel includes Prof. Sir Michael Marmot and Celina Gorre, Executive Director, Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases.
